Part-time Lecturers in the Department of Linguistics and Translation (Appointment for 1 Semester) [Ref. T/206/26]

Duties

Teach undergraduate or postgraduate courses in linguistics, including neuro/psycho-linguistics, functional linguistics, pragmatics, text linguistics and computational linguistics, as well as interpreting and intercultural communication, and/or supervise Master’s degree research projects. Teaching will be conducted during the daytime or evening.

Requirements

A PhD degree in Linguistics or a related discipline, or PhD candidates in the final stage of their study, with expertise in one or more of the following areas: neuro/psycho-linguistics, functional linguistics, pragmatics, text linguistics, computational linguistics, interpreting, intercultural communication, translation, or related fields, and/or competence in supervising student projects in interdisciplinary areas across linguistics, language applications, translation or interpretation.

Salary and Conditions of Service

Salary offered will be highly competitive, commensurate with qualifications and experience.
