We are now looking for a suitable person to fill the following position in the School of Education and Languages:

Part-time Technical Assistant(s) (Project No.: R6975) (E&L) (Ref: 2600249)

 

Major Duties and Responsibilities

The appointee will mainly assist the Principal Investigator in a research project Effects of Parenting Styles on Social Connectedness, Resilience, and Academic Motivation among Emerging Adults (R6975). The appointee(s) will be responsible mainly for the following:

  • Assisting in participant recruitment;

  • Collecting data from the participants and other stakeholders;

  • Conducting quantitative analysis and designing the measurement tools; and

  • Exploring data and organizing project work progress.
     

Candidates

Candidates should possess the following qualifications, experience and competence:

  • At least 5 subjects with Level 2 in HKDSE or equivalent, including English & Chinese languages and Mathematics / Diploma;

  • Experience in conducting quantitative research;

  • Strong sense of responsibility, self-motivation, attention to detail, and a positive attitude; and

  • Able to meet deadlines and work independently.
     

Terms and Conditions for Appointment
Successful candidates will be appointed on a temporary part-time contract. Benefits will be provided in accordance with the statutory provisions.
