We are looking for the following experienced professional who is capable of carrying out supervision and co-ordination work for the project of “Batch 1B, 1C Development of Hong Kong-Shenzhen Innovation and Technology Park”:

Assistant Inspector of Works (Ref. JD_23058AIOW)

The minimum qualifications required for the post of Assistant Inspector of Works shall be as follows:

Qualifications:

• Higher Diploma or Higher Certificate of Civil / Structural engineering with 3 years’ relevant post qualification experience
  
  
  

Duties and Responsibilities:

• Ensure that the Structural Engineering Works are carried out in accordance with the statutory approval drawings, statutory requirements, design assumptions, specifications, contract requirements, and good engineering practice.
  
  
• Coordinate / liaise with the adjoining site for any interfacing activities which will affect the site work, if applicable.
  
  
• Monitor the performance and work progress of contractors and sub-contractors by preparation of site daily and produce site record including regular photo taking and filing.
  
  
• Assist in the review of Contractor’s design (including temporary works), site planning, shop drawing, material sample, test results or method statement submissions and other relevant submissions for the project.
  
  
• Carry out any other duties as may be assigned from the time to time by the SRE / RE / ARE / IOW appropriate for the proper completion of the Project.
  
  
• May be required to work in nightshift.

Employment will be on a contract basis for a period of 24 months commencing immediately with possible extension subject to works condition. The remuneration package will be commensurate with the candidate’s qualification and experience.
