Temporary Officer – Information Technology (Digital Workplace)
The Hong Kong Examinations and Assessment Authority (HKEAA) is an independent and not-for-profit statutory body which administers public examinations in Hong Kong. Our scope of responsibility extends to administering over 200 international and professional examinations. We are looking for talented people to join hands with the HKEAA family in contributing to the provision of valid, reliable and equitable examinations and a range of assessment services to meet the educational and societal needs of the community. Applications are now invited for the following post:
Temporary Officer – Information Technology (Digital Workplace)
Duties: The appointee will report to team manager and is responsible for supporting the Authority's Digital Workplace initiatives. He/she will lead the implementation of multiple digital solutions, including:
(a) Lead and coordinate the implementation, administration, and continuous improvement of Digital Workplace platforms and services, including M365, digital signature solutions, unified communications, Virtual Desktop Infrastructure (VDI), meeting room technologies, endpoint management, and related workplace solutions;
(b) Plan, coordinate, and monitor Digital Workplace projects, including requirements gathering, solution evaluation, implementation, testing, deployment, and service transition activities;
(c) Drive user adoption and digital transformation initiatives through training, communication, governance, and engagement programmes;
(d) Liaise with users, vendors, and technical teams to coordinate solution deployment, troubleshoot issues, and ensure effective service delivery;
(e) Monitor technology trends and evaluate emerging workplace technologies to improve productivity, collaboration, and user experience;
(f) Manage vendors and service providers to ensure quality service delivery and project outcomes; and
(g) Provide operational support for Digital Workplace solutions and contribute to service improvement initiatives.
Requirements:
(a) A Bachelor’s Degree in Information Technology, Business Administration, Project Management or related disciplines;
(b) At least 5 years of working experience, with minimum of 2 years in Microsoft 365 management, user side technical support and/or IT service management;
(c) Strong technical knowledge and hands-on experience in Microsoft 365 technologies are essentials;
(d) Experience with Microsoft Power Platform, productivity tools, and end-user computing will be an advantage.
(e) Professional certifications in one or more of the following areas would be an preferrable:
Microsoft 365, Azure or Endpoint Administration
ITIL, AI and Digital Workplace technologies
Cybersecurity-related certifications
(f) Working with 'can-do' attitude, detail-oriented, initiative-taking, and agility;
(g) Strong analytical, problem-solving, and vendor management skills; and
(h) Good oral and written communication skills in both Chinese and English.
Employment Terms: The remuneration package will be commensurate with qualifications and experience. Appointment will be on a temporary contract with MPF benefits.
