Treasury jobs in Hong Kong

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

• Handle daily cash management operations, including expense reimbursement review, payment processing, cheque issuance, bank deposits and withdrawals, cash transfers and preparation of remittance applications.

• Support daily cash position monitoring and cash flow management across bank accounts.

• Process payments accurately and in accordance with company policies, approval procedures and internal controls.

• Perform bank reconciliations and follow up on discrepancies in a timely manner.

• Assist with settlement of intercompany and current accounts.

• Maintain accurate payment registration records and confirm cash settlements.

• Assist in preparing daily and weekly cash plans to support business and operational needs.

• Compile weekly cash reports for management review.

• Assist in preparing a monthly overview of bank accounts, including balances, movements and key observations.

• Organise, maintain and archive Finance Department documents in an accurate and orderly manner.

• Assist in calculating monthly net income and related financial analysis.

• Assist external auditors by retrieving ledgers, preparing supporting schedules and providing relevant documentation.

• Support ad-hoc finance projects and administrative duties as required.

IDEAL CANDIDATE

• Tertiary education in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration or a related discipline.

• At least 2 years’ relevant experience in cash management, treasury, accounting or finance operations.

• Experience in a Hong Kong-listed company is a plus.

• Experience in the logistics or warehousing industry is a plus.

• Basic understanding of cash handling, bank reconciliation, payment processing and accounting principles.

• Proficient in Microsoft Excel, including data entry, data analysis and report preparation.

• Good communication skills in Chinese, Mandarin & Cantonese.

• Proficient in Chinese and English typing.
