Managing Director (with SFC RO4,9 an added advantage) - Fund & Wealth management business

Our client is a SFC 1, 4 and 9 licensed company in Central and is looking for an experienced Managing Director to establish the fund and wealth management business  :-

Requirements :

• Degree in finance, banking, accounting, economics, business or related studies. Other qualifications such as MBA, CFA, CPA, LLB are a plus
• Has more than 10 years fund set up and management solid experience in which the recent 5 years or above at Director level
• SFC RO 4 and 9 is preferred but not a must  
• Has private equity, equity fund or bond fund raising exposure, successful track records in financing, take over and merger of investment projects
• Has clientele resources, strength in business development or cooperation partners connections is preferred, previous exposure in External Asset Manager (EAM) business is a plus
• Great leadership, with vision and excellent investment and management power
• Has outstanding interpersonal and communication skills.  Capable to command fluent English, Putonghua and Cantonese

 Duties :

• In charge of the fund and wealth management business by setting strategic in depth investment analysis, source and in charge of the execution of take over and merger of investment projects, manage the whole investment process and achieve good returns
• Organise the information gathering, analysis, building up and expand the investment project base, source and select the investment projects;
• Handle primary &/or secondary markets’ deal design, origination, industries research and analysis, project assessment, deal execution and investment management
• Set up fund and to build up the return records for clients’ investment
• Build and expand the client base and manage the sales team to provide wealth management service to clients and to achieve sales targets
• Formulate the business direction and strategy according to ever-changing market conditions
