Role Mission

This is a key commercial leadership role focused on driving business growth in the China market.
You will lead one of the sales teams, strengthen strategic customer and supplier relationships, and unlock new opportunities across assigned product lines.

Role Summary

Reporting directly to the Director, you will lead one of the regional sales teams of 6–8 members across China.
Responsible for executing sales strategies, developing key accounts, supporting team performance, and delivering revenue growth through market expansion and strong customer engagement.

Job Description

Develop and implement sales and marketing strategies to achieve sales targets and business growth objectives.
Lead, coach, and motivate one of the regional sales teams to maximize performance and customer coverage.
Manage key accounts and build long-term relationships with strategic customers and suppliers.
Work closely with internal teams to prepare annual sales forecasts, budgets, and targets.
Identify new market opportunities, customer applications, and business channels to expand the product portfolio.
Provide product knowledge, sales support, and coaching to team members to enhance overall effectiveness.
Monitor market trends, competitor activities, and customer needs to support informed business decisions.
Travel frequently to Mainland China for customer visits, business development, and team support.

Ideal Candidate

University degree preferably in Business, Marketing, Chemistry, or a related discipline.
At least 5 years of sales and marketing experience in the chemicals industry, preferably with strong exposure to the China market.
Proven success in managing key accounts and achieving sales growth.
Strong leadership ability with experience in guiding and developing sales teams.
Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
Good command of spoken and written English, Chinese, and Mandarin.
Commercially driven, proactive, and skilled at identifying new business opportunities.
Willingness to travel frequently to Mainland China.
