We are a lighting solutions provider with headquarters in Hong Kong and two factories in China.
We specialise in producing tailor-made lighting products for customer projects in Hong Kong.
The company provides project-based lighting solutions from product development and manufacturing to delivery, installation support, testing and commissioning.
The company offers a stable and hands-on working environment for engineers who enjoy managing projects and working closely with factories and customers.
Manage assigned lighting projects from order confirmation through completion.
Ensure projects are delivered on time, according to customer requirements and within the agreed specifications.
Coordinate closely with customers, factories, suppliers, contractors and internal teams.
Monitor project progress and resolve technical or production issues promptly.
Ensure proper testing and commissioning of lighting products and systems.
Manage assigned lighting projects.
Coordinate project activities between the Hong Kong office, customers and the company’s factories in China.
The role will cover project planning, product development follow-up, production monitoring, delivery coordination, testing and commissioning.
This is a hands-on role suitable for a candidate with experience in lighting or electrical projects.
The candidate must be proficient in CAD software and able to communicate in English, Chinese, Cantonese and Mandarin.
Manage assigned lighting projects from project commencement to completion.
Review customer requirements, product specifications, drawings and project schedules.
Prepare and update project plans, drawings, schedules and technical documents.
Use CAD software to prepare, review and modify lighting-related drawings.
Coordinate with customers to clarify technical requirements and project details.
Follow up on prototypes, samples, drawings, material selection and product modifications.
Monitor project progress and ensure key milestones are achieved on schedule.
Communicate with factories, suppliers, contractors and other project stakeholders.
Follow up and resolve product, production, quality and installation issues.
Arrange and participate in product inspections, testing and commissioning activities.
Follow up testing results and ensure defects or non-conformities are rectified.
Prepare and maintain project records, progress reports, testing documents and commissioning reports.
Coordinate site visits and customer meetings when required.
Provide technical support during installation, testing and commissioning.
Ensure completed lighting products meet customer specifications and project requirements.
Report project progress and key issues to the Director.
Carry out other project-related duties as assigned.
Tertiary education in Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Building Services Engineering or a related discipline.
2+ years of relevant experience in lighting, electrical engineering or project management.
Experience in lighting projects, electrical projects, customised lighting products or related engineering projects is required.
Experience in project coordination from design and production through testing and commissioning.
Proficient in CAD software.
Able to read and understand technical drawings and product specifications.
Good knowledge of project scheduling, production follow-up and quality control.
Experience working with suppliers, contractors and customers.
Able to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines.
Good communications English, Chinese, Cantonese and Mandarin.
Work in a small and professional Hong Kong office.
5.5-day work week with alternate Saturdays off.
13 months’ salary + one month’s performance bonus.
10 days of annual leave.
Overtime pay.
