Responsibilities

• Review product and marketing materials for insurance products and provide practical compliance advice to support distribution channel initiatives

• Develop compliance related communications, draft training materials, and prepare mandatory annual compliance training

• Review investigation of market conduct complaints, assess findings, and recommend appropriate disciplinary actions

• Evaluate sales practices to identify compliance risks and implement timely risk-mitigating strategies

• Monitor the business initiatives and conduct of intermediaries to ensure regulatory alignment

• Partner with distribution channels to conduct gap analyses on new or updated regulations

• Prepare compliance newsletters to keep intermediaries and internal staff informed of updates

• Formulate and update compliance policies, procedures, and manuals in response to regulatory or business changes

• Prepare regular management reports

• Handle any ad hoc tasks/projects as assigned

Requirements:

• Degree holder in Law, Business Studies, Accounting or other related disciplines

• Minimum 4–5 years of compliance experience within a life insurance company

• Prior exposure to distribution, product, or regulatory compliance is preferred

• Sound knowledge of insurance regulations and local statutory requirements

• Critical thinker with an independent mindset, strong analytical capabilities, and sharp attention to detail

• Proactive problem-solver with excellent communication, interpersonal, and stakeholder management skills

• Ability to work independently and collaboratively under pressure to meet tight deadlines

• Fluency in both written and spoken English and Chinese

• Candidate with less experience may be considered for Assistant Manager position
