Role & Responsibilities:

The Complaints Team of the Secretariat and External, CEO’s Office and Central Services is responsible for overseeing the administration of the SFC’s complaints handling procedures.

We are seeking motivated and detail-oriented part-time interns to join our team.  This position reports to Senior Managers of the Complaints Team and works with the other executives of the team, and will assist in: 

• Conducting background searches on complaints, in particular scams and listing related complaints;
• Compiling and analysing complaint statistics for review by the management; and

• Providing administrative support and undertaking ad-hoc assignments where necessary.

Skills & Requirements:

• Currently enrolled in an accredited full-time university/college degree program.

• Well-organised, with strong analytical, research and interpersonal skills.

• Demonstrates a strong sense of responsibility, able to work independently with minimal supervision as well as collaboratively in a team environment.

• Proactive learner with a keen interest in the securities and futures industry, particularly in complaint logistics and regulatory operations.

• Fluency in English and Chinese, with excellent verbal and written communications skills.

• Proficiency in PC applications including MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Chinese Word Processing.
