The appointee will be required to provide administrative and clerical support to the Department of Applied Psychology and Department of Sociology and Social Policy. The appointee will be responsible for (a) assisting in add/drop exercises, class schedules, examinations, meetings, etc.; (b) organizing student activities; (c) assisting in conferences, workshops, seminars, and other teaching and research activities; (d) maintaining student records; (e) supporting general administration of the Office;and (f) performing other duties as assigned.
Applicants should have (i) post-secondary qualification; (ii) at least one year’s working experience, preferably in the higher education sector; (iii) a good command of written and spoken English and Chinese (including Putonghua); (iv) ahigh competency in MS office applications; (v) a strong sense of responsibility; and (vi) effective communication skills.
Salary and Benefits
Commencing salary will be commensurate with qualifications and experience. Fringe benefits, where applicable, include annual leave, medical and dental benefits, andmandatory provident fund.
The appointment will be made on a fixed-term contract from December 2016 to August 2018.
