Job Duties:

 

  • Implement consultancy services on
    • sustainability management, reporting and verification
    • compliance management
    • environmental and energy management system standards (e.g. ISO 50001, ISO 14001, etc.)
    • carbon audit and management
    • waste management
  • Assist in implementing large-scale environmental assessment and audit projects
  • Develop new business opportunities in relation to new sustainability standards and product sustainability
  • Promote new services to support industry sustainability
  • Enhance industry partnership for creation of new services and effective implementation of programmes

 

Job Requirements:

 

  • Bachelor Degree from disciplines such as Science, Engineering, Environmental Management or equivalent preferred with at least 3 years’ relevant experience
  • Sound relationships with the industry, trade associations and professional institutes
  • Experience in leading successful new business development an advantage
  • Excellent interpersonal, presentation and communication skills
  • Mature, self-motivated, and strong leadership and project management skills
  • Good command of both spoken and written English and Chinese, including Putonghua

A competitive salary package commensurate with academic qualifications and experience will be offered. The successful candidates will be employed on a fixed-term contract basis, which is renewable subject to appointee’s performance and the Council’s development needs.
