This is an excellent opportunity for you to join the Commission’s professional team in the Supervision of Markets Division. If you have good knowledge in the securities and derivatives markets in Hong Kong, Mainland China and other major markets, this position will give you the opportunity to conduct market analysis with an eye on potential risks to market stability in Hong Kong and on the opportunities for local market development.

You will be responsible for conducting research and writing papers that will inform management on developments in the global securities and derivatives markets, market dynamics and stability, as well as competitiveness of Hong Kong’s financial markets. You will also have the opportunity to manage projects relating to policy work of the Division.

To succeed in this role, you should possess a university degree in Economics or Finance with at least 5 years of working experience in financial institutions or similar organizations, covering macroeconomic and financial research. Post-graduate degree in Economics or Finance is an advantage. Critical thinking and excellent writing skills are essential. An excellent command of written and spoken English is required. The candidate should be a team player.
