As an industry leader, our client is looking for a high calibre integrated communications professional to lead the function for Hong Kong market.
Reporting to the local MD and regional function head based in Asia, you will be responsible for developing and implementing strategic integrated external and internal communications initiatives. With the objective to position the brand as the industry leader and create positive brand image in the market, you will be developing and implementing campaigns and initiatives like: create thought-leadership programmes and/or adopt global insights to local markets; build strong media relations to pitch for interviews and identify speaking opportunities for senior executives; identify and propose industry sponsorship or partnership events. To support business growth, you are expected to develop marketing communications programmes such as advertising; direct mails and recommend lead generation ideas and etc. For internal communications, you will work on employee engagement initiatives; best practice/knowledge sharing; townhall meetings and etc.
The ideal candidate should be a degree holder in Marketing/Communications/Journalism or a related discipline, with at least 8-10 years of PR and integrated Communications experience in a corporate environment. Candidates from banking & finance, professional services, corporations and/or international PR agencies are highly regarded. You are self-initiated, driven, passionate and strategic yet able to work with hands-on approach. You have strong influential skills as well as strong project management skills. Excellent interpersonal, communications and presentation skills is essential to the success of this role. Excellent spoken and written English and Chinese are required.
