About Us
Established by the Hong Kong Government in 1989, the University is a financially independent and thriving student-oriented Institution, focused on providing learning opportunities primarily for adults through open access and distance education. In recent years, the University has expanded to offer programmes in mainland China as well as local full-time degree programmes. The University has a total student population of 18,000.
