About Us
Established in 1975 by the Industrial Training (Construction Industry) Ordinance, the Authority aims at providing the construction industry with well trained craftsmen, construction plant operatives, technicians and supervisory personnel. The Authority derives its income mainly from a training levy assessed on the value of construction operations undertaken in Hong Kong. At present, the Authority operates three Construction Training Centres, a Management and Safety Training Centre, a Trade Testing Centre and Workers Registration Office.
