Singapore International School (Hong Kong) offers a Singapore-styled academically rigorous and bilingual education programme from preparatory years to diploma level. With strong support from Singapore’s Ministry of Education, the school was established in 1991 with the preparatory and primary section and the secondary section opened in 2007.

The Admissions team is responsible for administrating the admissions process and applications, the recruitment of new students and enrolments of current students.

We now have an opportunity for an Admissions Assistant to join the Admissions team. This role is most suitable for candidates who are starting out in their career in the education sector.

Responsibilities

  • Provides high quality customer service to enquirers, applicants and offer holders
  • Supports the Admissions Team with the daily administrative running of a busy admissions office
  • Processes and updates applications from enquiry to offer stages
  • Assists in co-ordinating admissions exercises
  • Provides administrative support in collecting and preparing data for student recruitment and marketing reports
  • Support of school operations or any other tasks as assigned
    .

Requirements

  • Degree or Higher Diploma
  • Accuracy and attention to detail with a methodical approach to work.
  • Good computer literacy skills – working knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel and database systems, including experience of preparing and sending mail merges, using spreadsheets and databases, and creating statistical reports.
  • Experience of working with customers or providing a service and demonstrable commitment to providing an excellent standard of customer service
  • Good telephone and email etiquette
  • Proficient in English and Chinese (Cantonese and Putonghua)
  • Strong oral and communication skills
  • Excellent organisational and administrative skills
  • Meticulous eye to detail
