We are currently seeking a high caliber professional to join our team as Assistant Finance Manager, 14 months contract.

In this role, you will

  • Assist the team lead to roll out all projects impacting Asset Management Hong Kong Finance, mainly Finance Transformation Platform general ledger migration together with its dependency on implementation of Velocity, and timely report to team manager and CFO on progress and issues.
  • Finance subject matter expert in all finance change management projects, such as migration to Finance Transformation Platform, and any other projects that impact Company General Ledger, and timely communicate to the team manager and CFO on any potential issues.
  • Process improvement and reengineering in revenue accounting, financial reporting and regulatory reporting.
  • Participate in other projects and finance initiatives as directed by the team lead, such as Fee Billing System project.
  • Maintain a strong control environment over the reporting process to ensure data integrity.
  • Ensure sound control procedure are in place and align with Global Standards.
  • To enhance operational effectiveness and internal controls by driving IT enhancement.
  • Clearly document process and enhance the control feature of all finance processes taken by the CAO team and find ways to identify how to add value.
  • To provide support to team manager and CFO on any ad hoc analysis, finance and business initiatives.
  • Work effectively within and across teams, proactively engage and collaborate with others.

To be successful in this role, you should meet the following requirements

  • University graduate with solid experience within asset management business.
  • Strong communication, problem solving and analytical skill are required.
  • Strong team player with good leadership, staff management, interpersonal skills.
  • Experience of dealing with key stakeholders would be essential
  • Sound knowledge in revenue accounting processes would be considered as an advantage.
  • Self motivated with a positive and proactive attitude and able to work under pressure.
