Clerk II (holding the functional title of Executive Assistant) (2 posts) in the Academic Support and Examinations Section of the Registry (Ref.: 516209) (to commence as soon as possible, on a two-year fixed-term basis with contract-end gratuity and University contribution to a retirement benefits scheme, totalling up to 10% of basic salary, with the possibility of renewal subject to satisfactory performance)

Applicants should possess a recognized Bachelor's degree with 3 years’ relevant work experience or 5 passes in HKCEE, including English (min. Grade C if Syllabus A/Level 2 from 2007), Chinese (Level 2 from 2007) and Mathematics, OR min. Level 2 or equivalent in 5 subjects in HKDSE including English Language, Chinese Language and Mathematics, with at least 5 years' full-time work experience.  They should have a good command of written and spoken English and Chinese (including Cantonese and Putonghua); good interpersonal, communication and customer service skills; strong IT capabilities in Microsoft Office, PC and software applications; the ability to work independently and in a team, and be self-motivated and attentive to details.

For Post (A), the appointee will be expected to handle student records-related matters, including the updating of student personal data and academic records, preparation of course and enrolment records, processing official university documents, handling enquiries, etc., and perform other duties as assigned.

For Post (B), the appointee will be expected to handle finance-related matters for students, including issuance of tuition fee e-invoice, preparation of relevant documents, handling enquiries, managing the fees system, etc., and perform any other duties as assigned.

The appointees may be required to work outside normal office hours and on weekends.  Shortlisted candidates will be invited to attend a written test and an interview.
