A leading Asset Management group is currently seeking an experienced Compliance Manager to join their expanding team in Hong Kong.

As the Compliance Manager you will:

  • Report to the CFO/COO
  • Organise Compliance Committee meeting of the HK SFC registered entity
  • Ensure that group wide policies and procedures are maintained and developed according to HK regulatory requirements (i.e. Type 1 & Type 9 SFC Regulated activities, Professional Investor and KYC documentations).
  • Ensure that compliance policies within business and investment operations comply with HK, US and Europe regulatory requirements. This would include regulatory filings such as Substantial Shareholding, Form 3 & 4, SEC Schedule 13D, Form ADV, Reg D in the various jurisdictions.
  • Examine all business contracts such as vendor agreements, NDAs etc.
  • Advise Senior Management in regards of business expansion and operations throughout HK, China, US and Europe with compliance opinions
  • Provide support and compliance advice on Private Equity, M&A and acquisition Transaction to investment teams

What you will need to succeed:

  • Experience & solid knowledge in the asset management or investment banking sector
  • Hedge fund or Private Equity Experience
  • Motivated individual whom is able to build compliance/legal framework
  • Strong communication skills and fluent in English and Chinese (Mandarin)
