Our client is a reputable international bank with a stable workforce. An opportunity has arisen for a seasoned Director of Human Resources to lead the HR department.

Description

Reporting to a Head of Human Resources, you will lead a sizable team and be responsible for all COE functions including the HRBP, Compensation & Benefits, Mobility, Training and HRIS talents. Together with the Head of HR, you will act as a true HR Business Partner to the key stakeholders from the business and corporate functions to propose HR strategies on talent acquisition, retention, manpower planning, budget, talent management and development opportunities for their employees. Our client has made a number of positive changes from a HR perspective over the past few years, and they are receptive to new ideas on how to further improve on the overall employee experience and process flow. As a team lead, you will work closely with the COE team heads and ensure that the daily operations and HR services provided are of top notch service quality. The existing team is stable and diligent in their day to day responsibilities, but they would need your experience, strategic views, insights, guidance and support on key stakeholder management, process improvement, culture change, new ideas in the training curriculum and other group wide HR initiatives. In addition, you will provide training for the HR team members and ensure a succession plan is in place.

Profile

The right talent will be degree qualified with a minimum of 18-20 years of relevant HR experience gained from sizable financial institutions or professional firms. You will have led full fledged HR teams (preferably over 12-15 people) covering all COE functions , and enjoy being a mentor whilst also prepared to be hands on whenever the team needs your assistance. A strong understanding in compliance, HKMA requirements and reporting would be required, and a good level of English spoken and written skills is essential. We are looking for talents who possesses a strong business acumen, high level of integrity with a growth mindset.
