Established by the Hong Kong Government in 1989, OUHK today has developed into a young, dynamic, full-fledged university. We began offering full-time face-to-face programmes since 2001 and currently have about 10,000 full-time and 9,000 part-time students in the five Schools at the OUHK with about 220 programmes of studies. In addition, there are about 2,000 full-time/part-time students studying in LiPACE.

Information Technology Manager (Ref: 19001NH)

Major Duties and Responsibilities
The appointee shall mainly be responsible for the following:

  • Managing a team of System Analysts to implement, develop, enhance and maintain of the University’s Student systems and Web/App application systems;
  • Coordinating, communicating and working with Academic and Administrative units for support and maintenance of IT services;
  • Assisting his/her supervisor in system planning including IT strategies for various IT services; and
  • Performing other duties as assigned.

 

Requirements
Applicants are expected to possess the following qualifications, experience and attributes:

  • A recognized degree in Information Technology or related discipline;
  • At least 6 years’ relevant post-qualification experience, preferably with exposure in application system development;
  • Good knowledge and working experience in Peoplesoft ERP system (in particular Campus Solutions);
  • Good knowledge and working experience in Oracle Database Administration;
  • A proactive team player with good problem solving, communication and interpersonal skills; and
  • Proficient in both English & Chinese.

 

Shortlisted candidates will be required to attend a written test.

Compensation Package
Competitive compensation package including basic salary, end-of-contract gratuity and discretionary incentive (if any) will be offered to the right candidate.
