Responsibilities

  • Provide general deskside support - IT hotline for first-tier end-user system problem trouble shooting and resolution and (if applicable) data or programs backup
  • User account administration (Setup / Trustee Directory / File assignments)
  • Hardware / Network problem reporting and follow up
  • Installation and configuration of new PC and software system, including OS, basic MS Windows environment
  • Perform PC Image clone and configuration setup
  • Receive, unpack and quality control of IT asset in inventory
  • Frontline diagnostic of problem and recommendation on improving performance on the PC & network
  • Update and maintain log system for each network at each user site
  • Create or modify printer server or print queue
  • Periodic checking and reporting on error log and virus
  • Job posting, File batching, Submit batch, Run script, Report generation & distribution, backup & restore, System monitoring
  • Multi-location onsite support when necessary
  • Any ad hoc duties as required
     

Requirements

  • Diploma of above in IT related disciplines with 2-3 years related experience
  • Basic technical skills related to PC and equipment setup
  • Good command of English and Cantonese
  • Able to work independently, under pressure and willing to work at non-office hours when necessary
  • Willing to work within standard documented procedures
  • Team player with good inter-personal, communication and listening skills
  • Fresh graduate will also be considered
