Major Duties:
(a) To perform administrative duties and coordination work in one or more of the following areas:

(i) student admission and registration including organizing Central Admission exercise and orientation programmes;
(ii) non-local student admission, student exchange programmes and collaborative projects with Mainland/overseas institutions including duty visits outside Hong Kong;
(iii) student administration and support services including module registration and graduation;
(iv) collection and refund of tuition fees and administering of Government’s subsidy schemes; and
(v) various systems set-up, implementation and enhancements;

(b) To prepare statistics and compile reports relevant to admission, enrollment and academic performance for programme planning and accreditation exercises;
(c) To supervise and co-ordinate the work of clerical and supporting staff and ensure the effective delivery of services;
(d) To assist in the formulation, implementation and review of operational and quality assurance policies, systems and procedures;
(e) To undertake committee work in various meetings, committees and boards;
(f) To provide executive and secretarial support to projects, functions and events; and
(g) To provide support in procurement, budget preparation and inventory control.

Requirements:
(a) A recognized degree or equivalent qualification;
(b) At least 2 years’ post-degree relevant work experience at supervisory or executive level, preferably in educational institutions or comparable organizations;
(c) Good communication, inter-personal, organizational and administrative skills;
(d) A pro-active approach and ability to work independently; and
(e) Good command of spoken and written English and Chinese, preferably including Putonghua.

Notes:
(1) The candidate may be appointed on temporary terms of appointment.
(2) Shortlisted applicants will be required to attend and pass a written test in Chinese and English.
(3) The appointee may be required to perform duties at different sites and outside Hong Kong, and work irregular hours, shifts and on Saturdays and Sundays.
(4) The remuneration package will be competitive and commensurate with qualifications and experience.
