Duties

To conduct part-time teaching for undergraduate/professional diploma level courses of CityU SCOPE. The appointees are also required to set and mark assessments, invigilate examination, supervise students’ projects, carry out student consultations and attend meetings.

 

Requirements

  • a Master’s degree in the relevant discipline, doctorate degree and/or professional qualification holders preferred;
  • at least 2 years’ experience in teaching in the relevant discipline, preferably at tertiary level;
  • at least 2 years’ work experience in the relevant industry; and
  • a strong commitment to excellence in teaching

  2. Part-time teaching opportunities are available throughout the academic year including summer and winter terms. 
  3. Screening of individuals in the pool is ongoing, depending on curricular need. Individuals will be contacted and interviewed if they make it to the finalist stage for teaching a particular module or set of modules.
  4. The pool will remain in place until/unless a withdrawal is requested.
