Responsibilities

  • Coordinate with both internal and external parties for relative product quality issues
  • Responsible for product shelf-life study, sensory evaluation, write up and maintain proper recipe, process flow, product specification
  • Assist in the establishment, implementation, maintenance and improvement of Food Safety Management System (ISO 22000, HACCP and FSSC 22000)
  • Conduct quality inspections, internal audits and supplier audits regularly
  • Collaborate with different departments for monitoring Food Safety practices at factory
  • Review labeling of products to ensure compliance with legal requirement
  • Conduct in-house training for all levels of staff
  • Arrange routine lab testing of raw materials and products
  • React to and resolve ad hoc issues arising in food production, packaging and factory operation

 

Requirements

  • Higher Diploma or above in Food Science or equivalent
  • 1-2 years relevant experience in food industry and QA / R&D is preferable
  • Knowledge of quality assurance systems (ISO 22000, HACCP, FSSC 22000), food regulations and food safety audit schemes
  • Good knowledge of food labeling
  • Good communication, organization and analytical skills
  • Good command in spoken and written English and Chinese
  • Computer literacy in MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Chinese Word Processing
  • Independent, mature, positive and hardworking
