About the role

Our organisation is undergoing transformation and becoming more agile. Our goal is to become a platform that encourages and supports the creation of new business initiatives and ventures from within the organisation and through external partnerships and initiatives. This role is pivotal in realising that transformation and goal. The successful candidate will be intimately involved in several key transformation projects including the

  • Establishment of a Project Management Office
  • The management and co-ordination of Corporate Projects initiated through The STILE Initiative program
  • The management and co-ordination of new ventures initiated through the Entrepreneurial Investment Committee

This will be a role that requires the successful candidate to be proactively involved in creating and driving organisational change through innovation and continuous improvement.

 

Responsibilities

  • Own and project manage individual Innovation Projects. These may be complex projects covering a broad range of business initiatives that span multiple operational functions, departments and subsidiary companies.
  • Work with The STILE Initiative projects to plan, manage and co-ordinate the internal work effort required to ensure project success.
  • Provide comprehensive financial and risk analysis and progress reporting to management on the status and progress of individual projects and initiatives.
  • Assist the Entrepreneurial Investment Committee establish a Project Management Office, and the development of processes and procedures required to support individual projects and initiatives.

 

Requirements

  • Degree holder in Business fields 
  • Five or more years of experience with organisational change 
  • Strong interpersonal skills and ability to build trust and productive relationships
  • Strong facilitation, consultation and convening skills and experience.
  • Strong project management skills gained in a business change management environment as demonstrated by ability to manage projects with senior stakeholders and influence decisions and outcomes.
  • Ability to challenge and question key stakeholders
  • Excellent written and verbal communication in both English and Chinese
  • Excellent Financial Acumen
  • Ability to deal successfully with ambiguity and draw out the issues to be addressed
  • Proactively drives their own workload and manages their own time
