Position Summary:

The Regional Marketing Manager is a strategic marketer who has equal industry, strategy and marketing experience. The role requires a leader who is able to think outside the box, works well in ambiguity, able to communicate and influence across position level and location.  This role requires someone who is as comfortable with data as he/she is with meeting customers.  the role is the leader responsible for driving of cross portfolio business growth from marketing angle including exploring new growth opportunities and deep diving existing business cross divisional growth opportunities, the role lead a team to cover responsibilities of Marketing Intelligence and key segment marketing and marketing communications.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and drive implementation of Regional Marketing Plan in HK
  • Develop Value Propositions for Thermo Fisher involved portfolio in key segments markets in HK
  • Align on Regional market strategy and implementation with key function and division partners across position levels
  • Drive cross division commercial activities to present Thermo fisher involved Portfolio/Solutions in the market in order to bringing incremental business growth through synergizing the approach by launching marketing /commercial projects
  • Identify new growing markets in HK
  • Understand Government Regulatory/Policy in Key Growth Markets such as Precision Medicine, Cell Therapy and other identified growth markets & the impact to business
  • Work with commercial/sales team to identify business challenges and develop marketing programs to address that.
  • Manage a marketing team with functions of Marketing Intelligence, Segment Marketing and Marketing communications

Education & Working experience:

  • B.S. Degree in scientific field, advanced marketing degree or MBA preferred
  • 7+ years’ experience in sales & Marketing
  • Working knowledge of Biopharmaceutical or Other related Science/Industry fields
  • Strong track record of managing key opinion leader relationships to produce substantial proof of competitive benefit
  • Demonstrated ability to identify key buying influences and develop compelling value proposition statements that drive customer behavior
