Our business areas include financial engineering (investment analysis, risk management, derivatives pricing, etc.), business intelligence (sales forecasting, customer management, inventory management, etc.), environmental science (weather forecast, heavy rain and turbulence forecasting, analysis and prediction of pollution, etc.), smart city (information gathering, information analysis, optimisation and management), and internet applications (massive image processing, video storage and delivery).
 
We are looking for a SENIOR BUSINESS DEVELOPMENT MANAGER - with details as follows :
 
  • Master or above in IT related discipline; MBA is a plus;
  • 8 years or above relevant work experience; with at least 3 years in supervisory level;
  • Experience and good track records in managing sizable IT projects;
  • Experience in business process review and oversight;
  • PMP or project management experience preferred;
  • Conceptual and practical understanding of HPC, Cloud, AI, Analytics and Data Management;
  • Ability to communicate, demonstrate and document value propositions and unique business value as related to technologies and services capabilities and convey complex information in an easy to understand and engaging manner;
  • Good command of written and oral Chinese (Cantonese & Mandarin) and English;
  • Complete comfort in working at all levels of the organization;
  • A customer facing role focusing on pre-sales delivery, and working closely with sales and delivery team;
  • Generate demands or uncover customer business needs, gather user requirements and propose creative analytic solutions to meet these needs;
  • Develop and deliver compelling customer presentations to articulate value propositions and unique business value;
  • Lead interactive customer workshops to design complex solution on various business intelligent, machine learning and/or Big Data analytic products and solutions;
  • Work with team to accurately scope and provide efforts estimates for POC's and presales engagement projects;
  • Contribute in the initial solution designs, to provide monitor & control at key milestones, to provide customer continuity and to ensure alignment with the original customer vision;
  • Ensure continuity and successful transition from the sales cycle into the delivery cycle;
  • Actively develop, cultivate and maintain good customer relationship and facilitate internal resources to address customer satisfaction;
  • Represent the company at the industry event to promote company products and services.
