Responsibilities

  • Assist account director/director in management of one or several accounts, including staff allocation and quality
  • Help to manage client budgets, invoicing and profitability of accounts
  • Seek opportunities to provide added-value service, facilitate cross support and cross marketing
  • Review quality of work by consultant/account executive on assigned accounts. Taking responsibility for all activities conducted by the firm on behalf of assigned clients
  • Assure all client files are complete, up-to-date, easily accessible and neat
  • Ensure clients are provided with weekly activity updates or reports and that monthly review meetings are held
  • Keep director/account director aware of all client developments, opportunities and potential problems
  • Help to prepare and draft proposals for extension of activities with current clients and introduction of new business
  • Draft new business proposals and presentation for review by account director/director
  • Make recommendations to account director/director on client activities
  • Liaise with suppliers (creative, translation, clippings) as required by client
  • Make firm recommendations to clients even when those recommendations may be contrary to a client’s intended course of action
  • Make recommendations to account director/director on amending existing client programmes
  • Understand the business and industry of clients

 

  • At least 5 years of relevant experience in financial communications / investor relations, agency experience a must
  • Account leadership experience in financial communications
  • Good knowledge of financial markets and IPOs
  • Strong media contacts
  • Outstanding project management skills with good sense of quality, timing and cost control
  • Ability to manage & supervise investor relations / financial media events independently
  • Excellent command of English and Chinese (written and spoken), with ability to write clear and compelling materials. Mandarin is essential
  • Immediate available or short notice is an advantage 
  • Candidates with lesser experience will be considered as Consultant
