(Senior/ Junior) Technical Support

 Responsibilities:

  • Provide technical expertise, own all desktop responsibilities and liaise with users, application teams and vendors to resolve problems
  • Provide support and ensure the functionality and accessibility of all IT infrastructure, including server, telecommunication, PC and other peripherals (such as scanners, printers), and handheld units
  • Responsible for Linux server setup, configuration and performance turning on both Cloud-based or On-premise
  • Liaise with Vendors for infrastructure relevant services, evaluate new technologies, plan and implement infrastructure solutions to cope with business objective
  • Enhance and implement system monitoring, automation procedure and regular maintenance plan Handle software package installation, configuration and support
  • Handle ad-hoc assignments with appropriate instructions from supervisor

Requirements:

  • Higher Diploma or above in Information Technology or related disciplines
  • 2 years or above solid experience in Linux system and Networking administration
  • Knowledge in Windows server, Unix/Linux. VMware, shell script, Java application service, MySQL, TCP/IP and network equipment
  • Hands-on experience in Azure, AWS, Apache/Nginx and MySQL performance turning is preferred
  • Hands-on experience in switch, router and firewall configuration and troubleshooting is advantage
  • Excellent customer service attitude and team player
  • Co-operative, good sense of responsibility

 

Helpdesk Engineer

Responsibilities:

  • Responsibilities to handle end user calls for helpdesk service via phone, email and remote access tools.
  • You will maintain a high degree of customer service for all support queries to all executives and end-users.
  • Researching new technologies
  • Carry out computer operational tasks according to schedule and established procedures as well as system backup according to the job schedule
  • Work with vendors on escalations

Requirement:

  • Diploma holder in Information Services or related disciplines
  • Min 1 years' experience in providing helpdesk support / back office operations
  • Experience in PC setup, Microsoft products, email system and mobile support, helpdesk support / back office operations
  • Broad technical knowledge on general office desktop applications
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills are essential;
  • Good command of written and spoken English and Mandarin is a plus;
  • Good response and telephone manner, able to communicate with expatriates
  • Less experience or Fresh Graduate will also be consider
