Web Developer (Full Stack, 6 Months Contract for (Ref: PROD-15-CONT)

Job Responsibilities:

  • Responsible for development, maintenance, enhancement, system testing and deployment of web applications
  • Provide operational support to existing digital properties
  • Write readable, scalable and high quality code with tight timelines
  • Coordinate with functional areas on launch and deployment tasks
  • Identify problems; Propose strategies to optimize performance and scalability


Job Requirements:

  • Degree holder in Software Engineering, Computer Science or related discipline
  • At least 1 year web development experience
  • Expertise in MYSQL, PHP, PHP framework (eg. Symfony)
  • Expertise in JavaScript, Ajax, JQuery, CSS/CSS3, HTML and new HTML5 features
  • Familiarity with SQL/NoSQL databases
  • Experience in web server such as Nginx and Apache; MVC Framework in Symfony 2 and 3, search engine implementation, Java, Python and node.js, Docker and Kubernetes will be a plus
  • Experience in design and implement service-oriented architecture (Microservices) is preferable
  • Attention to details and committed to quality
  • Strong interpersonal skills and a team player who is self-motivated and willing to further their knowledge by exploring new technologies
  • Flexible, proactive, should be able to handle fast-paced environments
  • Distinctive problem solving and analytical skills
  • Good command of written and spoken English
