做市場推廣的部門最喜歡講Branding ( 建立品牌 ),因為品牌價值愈高,認知度愈高,信譽愈好,就有機會為產品定更高的價格,也會令銷量增加。同樣道理,個人品牌也是一個令僱員在職場突圍而出,增加價值的關鍵因素。 在工作能力差不多的情況下,如果成功建立清晰的個人品牌,就會令僱主留下深刻印象,不但有助表現自己的專長及特質,更能獲取僱主及客戶的信賴。   甚麼是個人品牌呢?我個人認為,建立個人品牌是在職場上向僱主、同事、客戶和合作伙伴等展示個人特色及工作表現 ( Personality and performance )。我建議可以通過以下六大步驟建立職場的個人品牌: 1.      具備一定水平的學歷和資格是求職的敲門磚,也是僱主認識你的直接途徑。 2.      掌握行業知識。除了學校的知識,最好要充分認識及了解所在行業的技術知識、最新消息和發展趨勢等。積極參加專業機構組織的研討會或講座也有助提高專業水平。 3.      工作經驗和成就。剛畢業的大學生可能並未有太多的工作經驗可陳述,但在學時所參與的義務工作或實習計劃都值得提及。 4.      擁有良好的人際網絡不僅可以向不同的人借鏡學習,還有利事業發展。求職者可多接觸業界的人士,或通過加入行業組織透過其舉辦的活動擴闊個人網絡。
