Can you regain your passion for something after losing it?

I joined my company as a management trainee, supposedly on the fast-track to a management role. Now I’m nearing the end of the scheduled three years of management training. My progress has been outstanding as I’ve been told, so a decent title and pay bump are expected in a few months’ time. However, I have a problem: I feel that I’ve already lost my passion in this industry (finance) and have been looking around for other options. It would be a huge disappointment to my company, my mentors and my colleagues because they have spent much time and efforts on training me up. I would feel really bad for them. Am I selfish if I go on with my own wishes instead? Or is there any way that I can somehow regain my passion for finance?
